Rigid (Class 2) Driver Training
Category C Driver Training (often still referred to as Class 2) is the first step in your LGV Driving Career. This is probably most popular course that we provide. In order to start your training, you will need to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid car licence. Without this, you can't start your career as a Cat ‘C’ driver.
The Category C Licence is your first step into a career on the road. Once you pass, the job market for Class 2 Drivers is yours to take on, or you can choose to continue your training and add Category CE to your licence. Some people prefer to get experience behind the weel of a Class 2 Vehicle first, but moving straight on to your Class 1 is also a great option - especially if you want to really open the door to new job opportunities.
Getting started is pretty easy, as we do the hard work for you. In order to get started, you need to undertake a medical and fill out some forms. But don't worry our dedicated team is on hand every step of the way to ensure that the start to your new career is as easy as possible. Have a look at our Getting Started guide for more information.
